October 15th has been set as the date for the Autumn workday at Seneca.
Specifics to be determined but the usual routine is as follows:
Meet at the climbers lot (parking lot for the old visitors center) at 8:00am
Bring work gloves and helmet if you have them, and lunch and water for the day.
Dinner that evening will be provided (TBD), and camping (free of charge) will be available at Seneca Shadows Campground, check the Gendarme bulletin board for details or ask the campground manager when arriving.
The plan is to prepare a site for a rescue cache on the East side, carry the materials up, and build a box to contain the gear. We'll be needing a few people handy with a hammer to build the box on site (or however is determined best).
Please, PLEASE, RSVP me if you plan to participate; for the tasks at hand we need to know who we'll have and what we can accomplish.
